External Administrator – Kevin Lee

About the External Administrator

The External Administrator of the Lister Dodgeball League is one of the three staff members, employed by the LHSA, to oversee and carry out the operations of the LDL. The External Administrator is primarily responsible for the administrative side of the league, overseeing everything from player sign up to merchandise ordering to external relations. The External Administrator is the chair the the Lister Dodgeball League Players’ Association.

The External Administrator also is in charge of the league’s financial position. They must make sure all monetary documentation is properly maintained and that the league’s funds are spent wisely. Together with the Vice President (Finance and Administration) of the LHSA, the External Administrator oversees the LDL’s bank accounts.

About Kevin Lee

Hello Dodgers! My name is Kevin Lee and I am this years External Administrator of the LDL. I am a 4th year Business student specializing in Economics and Law. I have lived in Lister for every year of my degree: 2 years on 5KWFS and 2 on 8 Schaffer, where I currently reside. In an age long ago I served as an LCA, and last year I was the Rules Administrator of the LDL and co-manager of the Schaffer Allstar team.

If you ever see me around feel free to come up and talk dodgeball, I love answering questions and helping people come to love and understand the game as I have over my years here. Keep your damn heads up, Dodgeball is Everything to Everyone.

Officiating Administrator – Bill Pickering

About the Officiating Administrator

The Officiating Administrator of the Lister Dodgeball League is one of the three staff members, employed by the LHSA, to oversee and carry out the operations of the LDL. Together with the Rules Administrator, the Officiating Administrator is primarily responsible for operational side of the league.

The Officiating Administrator is in charge of creating, training and organizing the head referee team. They also make the final decision regarding any appeals that are filed against calls made during a match of dodgeball.

About Bill Pickering

Hey there Lister! My name is Bill Pickering and I am what you might call a Lister lifer. Despite not living in Lister since 2010/11, I’m still working with the LDL and still loving it. I’ve had a lot of opportunities to be a part of a lot of great things at the U of A, but there is something very special about the LDL that sets it apart from anything else on campus. Now if your next question was is this guy qualified, I’d tell you this is not my first Rodeo, cowboy. In 2010/11 I was the Officiating Exec, then a Head Ref in 2011/12, and now I’m back for a victory lap.

If you ever see me running around campus feel free to come up and B.S with me; I love meeting new people. In fact, here are a few things I love talking about to help you break the ice: Saskatchewan Roughriders, Country Music, Dukes, How awesome the Oil Patch is, and naturally how terrible the NDP is.

Lastly, did you know that Vegan is an old native work for bad hunter? True Story.

Rules Administrator – Tyler Lobb

About the Rules Administrator

The Rules Administrator of the Lister Dodgeball League is one of the three staff members, employed by the LHSA, to oversee and carry out the operations of the LDL. Together with the Officiating Administrator, the Rules Administrator is primarily responsible for operational side of the league.

The Rules Administrator is in charge of creating the league’s schedule. Also, in consultation with the other three administrators, the Rules Administrator maintains and amends the official LDL Rule Book. They maintain constant communication with the dodgeball liaisons and inform them of any change to both the schedule or the Rule Book.

About Tyler Lobb

Hey Lister, my name is Tyler Lobb and I am the Rules Administrator this year. I’m from Calgary and this is my third year at Lister. I’m studying to become an elementary school teacher with a minor in French. I am living on the very dangerous 7 Mackenzie this year, so come by anytime if you want to talk Dodgeball, ask any questions, or just generally get rowdy and have a good time.

When I’m not doing Dodgeball related things, you will find me at Dukes with a teamer, two-stepping at the Ranch, watching hockey or reality tv on my floor, or playing some intramural sports with my buddies.  See you on the court ladies and gents.
